Regularly clean or replace air filters as recommended by the manufacturer, typically once a month for commercial units and once every 3 months for home air-conditioning. Dust and debris can accumulate, reducing efficiency and air quality. Additionally, clean the condenser and evaporator coils to maintain optimal performance.

2. Inspect and Clear Drainage System

Check and clear the air conditioner’s drainage system to prevent clogs and water leaks. Algae, mold, and debris can accumulate in the drain line, hindering proper drainage and potentially causing water damage.

3. Scheduled Professional Check-ups

Arrange for routine professional maintenance. They can assess the overall system, identify potential issues, clean critical components, and ensure the air conditioner operates efficiently and safely. Additionally, they can recharge refrigerant levels if needed and address any leaks or malfunctions.
